So glad to see her posting again~that dang fibro~I've seen it hit too many friends now, and it's always a bit different in symptoms but always debilitating and difficult to treat. **sigh**

Thanks for sending me the link to her blog. It is so sad that someone as talented as she is, has such a rough disease.

Mom is inching along. She is a busy type gal just like me so she finds it frustrating to be slowed down. But as I always say....time heals all..... I personally am doing fantastic! Eager to do more sewing....perhaps today! First, however, I have to work on income tax stuff.....yuck pooie!!! Then I have to start my Valentine minis!

Pfffssttt !!! to you Jess!! It's snowing here........
After 30 yrs living in Colorado, I've conclusively determined it's very much like my first 22 yrs in Minnesota, only the snow melts a bit faster, and it's drier in the summer. Otherwise, a person had better be able to handle frequent snowfall.

HEY,everybody! I've been out for a bit-sick,company,sick,wedding.... wedding...wedding..... Ummm did I tell you guys I am having my daughter's wedding here at my house in April? So when I go MIA for too long somebody better scream at me from the computer to get me away from the wedding-monster!!!! It consumes your thoughts late into the night and all day- not to mention what it does to the checkbook and relationships within the household!
I've missed you guys- I have been reading just no time for posting.
Don't forget me!! I'll be back-and with pictures!!!

Stephanie- Tks for checkin in on me!!

Blessings,
Autumn

Hey Autumn,

When I think of planning a wedding I see a mile long list that needs to be hung up someplace..You know a chalkboard would be a great idea for keeping track of what to accomplish each day. You can erase it and start fresh each morning

Remember to take time even if it's just a few minutes to sew a few hand stitches. It will soothe the soul and keep you going without having a major anxiety attack!

Glad you are feeling better. Watch your mail delivery..you should have something from me by the end of the week.

(((((hugs & love)))))

I made it, I finally caught up. I sure miss you guys, gals oh you know what I mean!!!!!!!!
Bev, sewing already girl, whoohhiieee but wow that was fast.
Jess, now a doggie mommie and girl that dog is awesome and that sweater is even funnier.
Nay, we will let you earn the money for all that fabric but girl, upholstery fabric, comeon we need cotton, silky, funky and fun!!!!!
Jess read some of Aunt george's blog, I think I have her addy but please send me just in case. Want to share with her the journey, fibro is an adventure to say the least. Yes, that is me trying to find a way to put a bit of a postive spin on a extremely challenging disease.

Update on me: Yep, still have Fibro, darn it, but trial and error of medications is a slow process but I am getting a bit of relief peridoically. That is a miracle to me all in itself. Never without pain, but a reprieve from the intensity is a HUGE and I mean HUGE blessing to me. Had dr appt today, they upped the tramadol(Ultram) and told me how to deal with breakthrough pain better. His sil has Fibro and so has dealt with family memeber first hand. Happened to get him today cause office was crazy busy. It was encouraging because he told me I was on the right track, takes time. Exercise is a must. Depression is also a major factor with this. On anti-depressant and I am beginning to see a change with that as well.
I finally want to sew a little. I haven't wanted to in over 6 months. That is a lifetime for me.
Onward and upward as the saying goes and hope to be chatting a heck of alot more.

hey carol sue send me a message, then i can respond to you..havent figured it out yet!

Autumn, I bet you have planned a few wedding! Dont forget to keep 1 notebook with everything in it. Jeez...DONT LOSE THE NOTEBOOK!!!

OKay I am all distraught those guys who trim trees for the power company are on my property today, I HATE THEM! They always cut 1/2 the trees to bits and never treat the trees for their vulnerability to disease, and everything is an unsightly mess when they leave..and ofcourse you never get any warning. They just cut my small mulberry tree that shades the sandbox area I made last summer for the kids...It was so tiny and posing a threat to no one, and they took our bird feeders and houses outta the tree and just tossed em to the side...karma...karma will get them. They better be really good in the rest of their lives.

Yep, warm here, too...but then I am just about an hour away from Linda. I worked on my nine patch quilt a bit this morning.....posted a pic on my blog. I am trying to make each of the kids a picnic/beach type quilt....then I am going to try to get a little more creative. Just going to first get to know my quilt machine.....and do fairly easy stuff first. Yea, I know, I should be doin those little minis!!! Maybe later today. Gotta go check on my Mom....she is struggling a bit with her back fracture.....

Welcome back, Autumn. I thought maybe Christmas got the better of you!!! Did you get your patch from me?

Jess...you gotta a gun? :D you could go out and tell em you gotta shoot the squirrels...if its a big gun they might leave...They usually at least let us know they are gonna cut...I remember the neighbors tree looked horrid after the city got hold of it..it was a beautiful sycamore...and wham! in one day they took half the tree....it was horrid!

Glad to hear, Carol Sue you are taking care of yourself...I do hope they get everything figured out for you soon...that fibro is tough stuff...my grandma and sewing teacher both have it.
