Ok, so here is the deal......We own the farm and are there Fri, Sat, Sun and sometimes during the week I go up too...... DH's sister (who is an equine and small animal vet and runs a mobile vet practice) bought 5 of our acres, built a house and does animal duty when we are not there. So....we share the work load. Come kidding time, I will move to the farm to help take care of all the babies....and DH will have to either just come up on the weekend or commute. It is only 45 minutes from our home in "town", but he has to be closer to work than that. So.....lots of commuting for me. We are in the process of having the entire inside of the farmhouse painted, so I cannot stay there right now, but that job should be done by the weekend. During the spring and summer months, I go to the farm a lot during the week for gardening, etc....but winters are slower....so more time to sew.

As for time....I never sit down, unless to check e-mail, the forum, or to sew or blog. I am up before 5 usually and go to bed after 10. We don't watch hardly any TV, so I do hand work and stuff when DH is home and I am spending time with him. The kitchen duty (canning, freezing) happens whenever needed and I pull marathon canning days. So, there you have it......I love to be busy. I love to multi-task....and I am having a ball doing it.

I am also very lucky to have a husband who gives me the opportunity to pursue the things I love to do. LIKE MAKE MINI'S!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and Bonne....this picture is for you.....last weekend...
notice the hat!!!!

LOL!!! It all keeps you slim and trim, that's for sure!!! And so stylish ;)
Did you say you were "retired"?? hahahahaha!!!

That's where I went wrong~my hubby is the one that can "do" things in his family~his brothers are about worthless. I should have interviewed him on the first date: "so, your family, what skills can they bring to the table?" You SIL solves my perplexion, but you are still a white tornado!

Linda, is it the dress pattern that I recently stitched up? Ck my blog and see.

There really is something very rewarding about staying busy with fulfilling work(scooping poop or sewing) - some of us can't waste time sleeping- I just wish I could get as much done as Bev!!!
I spend so much time thinking and planning my next project that I dont have the time too start them all!!! AGGG!
I drive myself CRAZY!!!

Blessings,
Autumn

I'm making some fuddy duddy looking mittens. After I bartered with Sheila for the felted wool sweater mitts, I'm hooked on the dang things, so decided to give it a try too. Only I used woven wool(see blog)
