to plant..and sow seeds.
we tilled up quite a bit of our backyard. have to set in some raised beds and spread cow manure and soil mix...but..
I went and got 8 large strawberry plants to add to the large strawberry bed and will be adding more as soon a the feed store gets in another batch.
and the good thing is..the plants are FULL of teensy tiny strawberries..of course I'll have to net over them and put caging around the bed to keep the ducks and chickens out..but woohoo..I'm gonna have a large strawberry patch...love them strawberries! I do!
Then I bought some broccolli, cauliflower and brussel sprout starts.
So woohoo.
those were the only things I didn't have seeds for..so I'll be setting plants out tis week.
Today it was cold out though. 42 and suppossed to freeze this evening.
Anyhow..yep..I've got the plantin' bug now.
Gonna try and plant by the almanac moon phase this year.
Hope that it all does well by doing things that way.

I thought this fit under "Getting Ready"

Here's what our garden will look like this year - it's in a different location so that the irrigation will hit it and we don't have to drive the water truck to the garden.
