Don't forget to cross me off the list. I have backed out of this swap. Quilt squares are hard for me to do. Maybe another time I'll try again.
thanks and sorry for any inconvenience I caused.

Dont worry Linda, I got ya covered!
Remember, don't go to far. Keed an eye on our swap.

I am going to the North Jersey Chapter of Americn Sewing Guilds Spring Fling Luncheon tomorrow.
I am a member of the South Jersey Chapter but my sister is North. The guest speaker is Lacy J Hill of Golden Thyme Designs and she will be talking on "Jackets that fit your Style" this should be interesting. I love to make clothes but they almost never come out right. I hope to get some good tips.

Have a great weekend everyone!

The speaker was Lacey J. Hill. Her web site is http://www.laceyjhill.com/
Her jackets are easy to make. I purchased the "Eternity II Jacket" They are just rectangles and triangles. No batting just muslin. They are light enough for all year. Or of course you could add the batting or flannel.
As soon as I make it I will post a photo.
I like the Asian Inspiration Pattern too.
Oh and the Snap purse. What a great idea. I am looking for just the frame. It is such a secure purse.

What I like about her jackets is that any size person can wear them. And, they are simple to make.

I am working on mine, hope to finish this week. I have been watching my troubled nephew everyday since the beginning of July, I have hardly been able to accomplish anything....TODAY IS MY LAST DAY WITH HIM, so I will be a very productive person from here on out.

Hi all

Guess I may end up being the "slowest" poke on this one. Just had surgery on my left shoulder and I'm not much good one-handed I start therapy this week and hope to be able to get my blocks done by the end of the month. Please have patience!

Mail me your stuff and I'll piece them for you if you want me too. You better take it easy on that shoulder.
My work is not as precise as yours likely but I'll help if I can.
Also- I dont mind xtending the deadline to give Vicki time to heal and do her blocks. Whatever you guys decide is fine with me.

Blessings,
Autumn

Happy Friday to all. I hope the weather holds out and is nice for everyone’s holiday weekend.
I am hoping to have my bike ready. My husband is working on the carburetors and said if nothing else gets in the way he should be finished tonight after work. That will give us Saturday and Sunday to test it out. Take it for a few local trips.
The 6th of June we are taking our yearly trip to White Rose Motorcycle Club, Spring Grove PA. Camping and displaying Jeff’s triumph. Sometimes its a little boring for me. But I love the ride out there.
The 12th - 15th is a quilt show and vendor display not far from me. I took Thursday off to help with the guild quilt show and Friday I am taking a class on curved piecing.

On extending the mail date for our swap....
Is there anyone out there that is apposed to an extension of June 21st?

Have a great weekend everyone!!

You are all so kind! I enjoy piecing and not because I'm so great at it (definitely need to practice), but it's relaxing for me.

Autumn - Thanks for the offer - I've seen your work and it is beautiful. If my therapy doesn't go as well as I hope, I may accept.

If everyone is okay with the extension, I think I can finish by June 21st (I hope, I hope)

Thanks to everyone and Have a great weekend!

Vicki

I received blocks from Pennie on Monday!
They are great!
Thank you!!
Time is ticking!!!!
I will be away this weekend in beautiful PA. I hope the weather stays a little cool. Camping in a tent in the heat is not fun.
Happy first week of June ladies!!!

Well its Tuesday. Very not much going on.
The weekend did not go as planned. My husband could not correct the problem he is having with his motorcycle. No camping for us. he promises another weekend we will go.
Well it was rather hot this weekend too. The temp off my deck was hitting 101 degrees. Gosh and its only June.
We should be getting some rain tomorrow I hope. That should cool us off for the weekend.

Kathy-
I am so sorry you didn't get to go this past weekend. I hate when stuff like that happens. I put my blocks in the mail today! You should get them before this coming weekend I think! And I hope you get to go camping soon! I thought PA was just beautiful when we drove through in April, so I am totally jealous that you get to go (soon hopefully!)! And man, I hear you about the tent living in summer. Our parents used to take us camping ALL THE TIME! I don't mind camping, but not with that summer heat & humidity! You know when you wake up in the morning and you feel like you need a squeegee to scrape of that layer of yuck that just sits on the skin of your whole body?! Uggghhh!

Good afternoon all.
I received blocks on Friday from Sarah. Nice job on the blocks Sarah.

Camping...I dont mind caming in the heat as long as there is a shower near by.(to some that would not be camping) I agree you need to get the yuck off you before falling asleep. But I do love the open fires and chit chatting with my husband. It came be cozy and romantic too....
