I know Alee's little Nora had it and Charlie was diagnosed last night. We had this happen about 3 times in the past year and the darn docs never did the swab thingy to see if he had it. I know it is a matter of sanitary conditions- lots of hand washing, cleaning, disinfecting. I feel like my house is covered in cooties!!!
It hits so fast- fever, throwing up, can't take anything because it just comes back up so I always end up in the ER. They have to give him rectal medicine. Very annoying and I feel bad for the little guy! He takes it so well at the ER- the poke and prod and he just sits there, watching. I hope he is a doctor when he grows up!!

Oh Heather! I am so sorry that Charlie has RSV. It is such a scary virus. It's really hard to comprehend how scary it can be until your LO has it. I am not normally a huge bleach person, but when Nora was sick I put a capful of bleach in both my wash and rinse water when washing dishes. I also put a little bleach in with all her cloth diapers and vinegar in with all the other clothes. I washed down all her toys when she was napping since they can re-infect themselves!
Does he have fever? One of the things that made Nora feel better was sucking on a homemade popsicle. They take the fluid in so slowly that their bodies seem to reject it less.
Yes, his fever was 102.9. I ended up in the ER because he couldn't hold ANYTHING down. He is doing better and I am getting ready to disinfect EVERYTHING around here. I did 4 loads of wash in HOT HOT HOT water and I am going to bleach the dishes and kitchen down. The hospital gave him 2 popsicles and thought that was a kick. I told them at daycare they need to THOROUGHLY clean everything.
