Hello all you farmgirls. I have been reading all the post, and I know I am gonna like this place. We have 20 acres of land we have been paying on for about 4 years - the plan is to build our dream house, have a big garden, some chickens, the works. My husband and I have both grown up around cows, pigs, chickens, gardens etc. But now we are very antsy to have are own together. But alas there is always some little pesky something to pop up to slow us up. So we will dream and plan and research till we get it done. I have no doubt all you farmgirls can help me out with my research SO many things I wanna try and all your ideas keep adding to my list. Hope to keep you posted with PROGRESS as it happens. Looking forward to meeting you all. Suzy

Where is Park Hills, well we are about 70 miles south of St. Louis, MO --about 30 miles from Historic Ste. Genevieve,MO which is on the banks of the Mississippi river. I am 5 hours from Branson. We don't go to Branson often enough maybe once a year, but we have some very beautiful sites so close by theres no need. In the last 10 years several winerys have popped up in our neck of the woods (about 5 of them all within 30 miles) so our area is becoming quite popular. Fall is also a very colorful time here. I think I am bragging. Thanks so much for the warm welcomes.

Welcome Suzy, another Missouri farmgirl!! LOL I'm down here in West Plains, living on 5 acres in a old farmhouse that keeps us busy, but it's a good kind of busy. I've learned, if there is a will, there is a way, and if you wait too long, you may not get it, so keep dreaming and go for it!!! You'll love it here!
I'm not 40 something, I'm 39.95 plus shipping and handling! |

Welcome Suzy, from Louisiana! I went to summer camp in the Ozarks and fell in love with MO. at a young age! I love the fact that you put the action of "gonna" behind the "wanna"...it just means one thing...AND SO IT IS!!!! Dream on! You've got the spunk to make it come true!!
