Hello all,
Very early this morning Chippewa Falls High School suffered losses.
There was a bus crash coming back from band competition in White Water.
Sound like there were at least 5 deaths.
The bus driver was killed, but nothing else has been released yet.
Please remember the families in your prayers

I heard this today on the way home. Our high school kids were at a different competition today and all I could think of was how those parents must be feeling. They were already in my prayers and will be tonight.

We lost 9 Ag students and an instructor from Utah state in a van rollover two weeks ago. They were on their way from a field trip. I am surrounding your community in light and love.

You have my prayers from just across the river. I know some kids from a different school that went to the competition. How incredibly tragic for all involved.

| Oh my, that is so sad. I just heard there was the accident but never heard the details. We will pray for all those involved and especially the families. |

Kristi,
The crash happened on the freeway US94 near Osseo, WI.
Early about 2 AM Sunday morning. a semi-truck had left the pavement and when he returned, he jack-knifed and tipped over, it sounds like just before the bus, sound like there was no time to react or brake. The bus did hit in the best place possible, right at the area, between the truck and trailer. Everyone was amazed there was no fire, as fuel was everywhere.
This week has been quite a zoo in town, with visitations and funerals.
The schools have had counselors available for the students, it should help cope with the media circus and shock.
My thoughts and prayers are with the people with injuries, some quite severe.
