Hi girls, my older friend Marion (86) needs prayers & good thoughts. Shes in the hospital in ICU. Her kidneys are failing, cant breathe, B/P dropped rapidly and I just dont know. When I saw her tonight she was like a frail little doll with a tube for oxygen and shes so yellow looking. She is like a mother to me. Thank you. Michele

Hi Michele,
I know this time is really hard for you. I agree with Bramble, let her know how much you love her, how much you have learned from her, and what an important part she has played in your life. Even if she is sleeping most of the time, tell her. She will hear you.
During this time, she may have one foot in this world and one in the next. She may at times seems distant. This can be confusing and hurtful to you if you do not know that it is natural. Don't let that scare you and go ahead and surround her with love.
My prayers are with you both. How blessed she is to have you!
