Hi Gals!
Looking for lotion bars! I know a bunch of you make soaps and all, and I remember seeing a post a few days ago about someone having some new ones in their store but can't seem to find it!!

I am not exactly sure who makes them either but have you read MaryJane's Outpost book. There is a recipe in there for bug repelant bars. They are great for keeping the mosquitos off me, I haven't been bit once, but better than that they have been great and conditioning for my skin. I am going to try making up a batch in different scents for winter because I love them so much.

I got the bee one mentioned in MaryJane's lifebook. My husband loved it and took it took work with him once, where his boss's wife saw it and loved it, so guess what we gave her for Christmas that year? I wish I had the URL handy for where I ordered the bars, but I can tell you they really are fabulous. They come in tins. The bar itself is wrapped in thin tissue with a pretty gold "bee" seal on top. I know the bee is a symbol with special significance to the LDS Church, so they would make an especially nice pressy for a Mormon friend. I hope she's still making them.

Mara thanks for the link. I had actually ran across some of their items on another website, www.tartburners.com , I was looking at a couple days ago!! I can't wait to go look at their own site.

Hi Sheri - I don't have any in my Etsy shop right now. I don't ship them during the hot summer months because they could melt. I will be making and shipping them again in September. I will email you privately.
Angi - thanks for the recommend!!
Hugs, Kay
