I received a lovely box from MaryJane and Meg today, what a way to close out the month! Handmade soap, candle, task bar and yards of a great vintage ribbon insertion type trim-plus a beautiful vintage baby coat that brought me to tears. It will be displayed in the guest room with the christening gowns and treasured forever.
In the same delivery was a box from a barter I'm doing with Miss Wilma and she included a pair of white leather button baby shoes! I think I'm in heaven :)
This has been a very sweet experience to be chosen as Farmgirl of the Month. After a lot of thinking about who deserves to be chosen (though we all know each and every farmgirl should be), my choice to "take over the crown" for September is Carol Sue in Spokane. I think this will help her through some rough days and nights, knowing we all care and want to honor her with good wishes.
Thanks to everyone who participated, I do appreciate.

A sweet experience - my feelings exactly whenh I was Farmgirl of the month. The gifts were so sweet and way beyond imagining. I am so happy you have had a good month Ronna. You deserve it. And, Carol Sue, congratulations!!!!!
And once again, MaryJane and her staff are so unendingly thoughtful!!!!

Good grief, am I surprized and yes, you have me crying for pete's sake. A good cry girls!!!!!! Yes, I do have rough days and nights but trust me, my farmgirl pals have gotten me through many a one when I didn't think I could stand the pain anymore.
There have been jokes, and phone calls and laughter, kind words and funnies in my mail. To each of you and you know who you are thank you. Words just can't express!!!!!!
