Dawn, your e-mail finally showed up in my box. The cats have been spending a lot of time on the desk today. Maybe they intercepted it and finally decided to give it back if they wanted to eat supper. Anyways, tag! you're it!!!

we'll just get Karen loaded up on those strawberries and she will forget all about us! Heck, I dunno if Marcy will even help you out at this point Karen!
Kell: yes, we are usually an ornery bunch. We need to talk about BBB sometime. I'm planning on going too..... heehhee...
Bring the wall tent if'n the camper isn't ready... we will split up from there. I have a double bed, couch, lazy boy and floor. If I make it to WV before then and bring back the trailer I will, but it's had a lot of damage done to it up in the Mountains.
Okay, so I'm not getting much work done. BRB.....

hey there gals! saw the mention about the meat thing..thought I'd mention a video over at meat.org that ...well..isn't for the faint of heart..but it will definitely make you want to buy your meats from a local/ or known source/ or grow your own that is for sure. I was delighted to find that the area we intend to move to has a lot of u-pick farms, and farms where one can find pasture raised fresh meats also. That's a good thing. ---------- I apologize for having been "out of the loop/quiet" for a while..I have been sick for over a week..caught the crud the kids had, but caught it twice as hard it seems.Am getting over it all slowly but surely. ------------------- Always like reading what everyone is up to.

Oooh, some of you are coming to the BBB in July? Awesome!! I think I'm going to show up for at least parts of it... And I have "free" accommodations near CdA and Moscow (my house or my mom's house). So it works out for me and the little boobtick I'll have with me.
I've been waiting and waiting for the Muppet Show to come out on DVD so we can let the kids see it. They don't do tv like they used to, that's for sure. We had to snatch up Looney Tunes at Costco when they had 'em. I think the only time the old-school Looney Tunes are on is like at 2am on Cartoon Network or something equally dumb.

Okay, on e last post from me and I have to dedicate myself to other things. We (Ohio) have a large storm system moving in with wicked high winds, power is out in some parts of the heartland already, and I suspect we too, will be without power before long.
I had a blast today girls. Its good to hear the "roar" above the din again. GO MAVENS! I thought of a t-shirt design today... the word Mavens...baseball style. I dunno...just a thought.
Have a good night and keep the heirloom fires burning! Countdown to Spring Fling....101 days.....

Hi Mavens!
Thanks for the welcome!
And, yes, Kelley I sure did get my seeds!
I am so excited about my garden plans that I seem to be stuck on exclamation points! (!!!)
Just ordered all my seeds, I think I have a Baker Creek buzz. Though I got most of them from Botanical Interests.
OK, I am going to do my homework and read up on the Mavens, so when I come back tomorrow I might have a tiny clue as to what I'm talking about.
Have a great evening everybody. :D

Okee dokee, this is my last post of the day. It has been so much fun having all this activity on the thread. Oh the things that will happen when a few mavens have the day off from work, huh?

Wow - see, told y'all, I was gone for 3 hours and 2 pages later.... Lanna - I think the muppet show came out on DVD last year, I know because I wanted it but DH got me Welcome Back Kotter which in my view is almost as good. I love the Muppets!!!!!! I sing the song all the time, most people think I'm crazy. I'm now very jealous that I can't go to the spring fling with the rest of you crazies, you are just all going to have to come to the BBB!! Dawn, you hit the date on the head - April 27th, a little later than we wanted but that gives us more time to build a chicken ranch Amanda - I have used a lot of Botanical Interests seeds over the last 3 years and have been very happy with the results. This year I am just using them to supplement, and then for impulse buys on my way out of work:) Cheryl - glad to hear your happy chapter news, strength in numbers!! I went to the co-op and bought some organic foods - happy now Amy Grace

Kelley, you are so maven! You've already answered a post and sent another farmgirl (chiqita) in our direction. So hoping she shows up. Girlfriend, you are on FIRE!
Cheryl, can't wait to meet Gail. You are quite the spark igniter yourself!
I know. I'm supposed to be offline the rest of the night. Still pumped from today though so had to check in one more time before small group.
