Hi everyone, I'm new here - my name is Marisa and I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I am a 25 yr old stay at home mom to three great kids who I plan to homeschool. We are currently 'suburban homesteaders' who try to live as gently on the earth as we can - and we're also in the process of getting a travel trailer so that we can spend time on our small plot of land in east Texas.
I discovered Mary Jane's book at the library this weekend and I'm so glad to have happened upon it; everything is right up my alley! I also signed up to start a farmgirls chapter here in Fort Worth. Hope to make some new connections here! :) |

Welcome Marisa...(love your name by the way!) You will find a nice group of homeschoolers here, as well as us that are in awe of homeschoolers.
How wonderful that you have a piece of land to go to!!

My kids are 3 weeks, 2 yrs and 4 yrs, so this will be our first year of official 'pre-k' activities and lessons. :) |
