This coming Tuesday May 12 my friend A's son is getting married. They all sort of "adopted" me as a sister , so I am invited to spend the whole day with them, YAY!!

I just don't know what to wear though.
I might wear a black/off-white/grey skirt. I have bought black patent leather shoes today (BIG sale price YAY). But what would look nice as a top? I have a black one with long sleeves I love. But would that be too dark for a wedding?
I can also wear my off white short sleeve top. But that might be too cold bbbrrr. I don't have a nice enough jacket to wear over it, just in case it really is cold.
Nor do I have the funds to buy something new to wear.

ANY advice?? I will wear my pearls and my pearl ear studs plus bracelet. so that is nice too.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

I think the black top with long sleeves would be great with that skirt and will look really nice with your pearl accessories. I hope you have a great time!

Id agree with Lainey. Not too dark for a wedding. AS a matter of fact, my sister is getting married next month, and her colors are red, black, and white. All of the bridesmaids are wearing Black dresses. Pearls are always beautiful and definitly with black to set them off and make them look especially white.:)
Ooh I hope you will post pics!

Yes, please post pics! I love to wear black and have worn it to weddings before. Matter of fact I was married in a dark navy blue dress with white flowers.
