Yes, it's just my style...and $75 isn't bad for all that fabric.. It would be fun to make...and easier than a new quilt. LOL
Are ya gonna buy it?

Dig out those rag bags ladies, making a skirt like that is child's play to those of you who quilt!

It is cute and reminds me of skirts we wore in the late 60's. Very Woodstock!

Hey all, I just wanted to mention that Susie is the seamstress and model in this skirt. She responded to my email just a little while ago and told me that another etsy artist PAINTED this photograph. You can check it out at
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25796281

how cool is that??? Beautiful work!! I swear, I never cease to be amazed by the creativity of others!! ~julia

Really cute! Shari is right- if you just dug into your fabric stash I bet you could make it for less than $15! :)

That's an awful lot of material right there..thats why she's charging so much---and then the work also.

I love that skirt. It is just my style too. Long, easy to wear and comfy. It is beautiful!

In a long ago time and far away (well maybe not so far away) I took a pair of big leg jeans, cut them along the seam up the inside legs, and puts quilt pieces into the open area and changed the jeans into a skirt. But I have never made an entire pieced skirt! Sure love that one!

The skirt can be made for less money if we used up scrap leftover fabrics or bought fabric remnants on sale. I would make it less full for my weight...my waist is thick so not so full would still be fine.
Who wants to start a sew-along making a skirt like it??

A sew-along to make a skirt what a great idea. When do we start?

A sew-along is when we all are making basically the same thing and post pics to share as we do it.

(I forgot I suggested it..lol) but I still like the idea!
