My okra has never done a thing....HOWEVER.... this year it has gone nuts...it is 6 feet tall, and is still producing....
How do I use it?
Never in my life of gardening, have we had enough heat, I guess this year, it is good for it....
Any suggestions....

breaded and fryed, soups and stews, raw with ranch dressing, save a whole bunch of pods for their seeds, share with family and friends

I freeze a lot of my okra. I slice it and put it in qt freezer bags. I also put in some chopped onion and bell pepper. When I use it, I thaw it out and sprinkle on some cornmeal and some s and p. Then fry it up.

My okra is doing well also. But this time of year, I have to pick them while they are really small or they get tough. I guess the plant knows it is time to go to seed and get ready for winter.

ditto for breaded and fried!

Ours is about the same height.

Too tall to fool with now, so we'll enjoy the blossoms then till it under
