Raspberry kuchen sounds great! I am homesick for Florida. I miss my family and friends there. I sit on the porch and day dream of what it would be like to go to the beach every afternoon for 9 months out of the year! for now I smell the neighbors cows and live in a small town that I think is the most challenging place on earth to live!

It's all good!

Hello There Ladies,
Welcome aboard all of you New Gals, come on up lots to drink, snack on, and talk about. There's never a dull moment on the porch. Well I'm starting to see some sun and warm weather coming this away I guess I need not talk much about it, wouldn't want to scare it away.LOL Well I talk with you ladies later, I'm off to check out the garden.

Cherry cobbler is one of my favorites. Tonight I brought a couple of pots of tea----chamomile mango and mixed berry. I'm ready to start a new project in crochet. I'll probably do another afgan while we are still having cold weather.

My tulips and hyacinths that I'm forcing indoors are coming along fairly well. It will be awhile before blooms though, at least it will be before those outdoors bloom.

Have a wonderful evening.

Ah, starting the day off with coffee, and sour milk!!! I hope that isn't a signal of the kind of day this is going to be!!! I suppose I will have to go into town now to get milk. But my moment on the porch always gives me a peace to carry thru the day.

It's all good!

Boy I bet that does set your day back just a little but being out here on the porch sure seems to turn it around that is until I turn around and see the house work patiently waiting. Anyway I guess I'll sit a bit longer and work on another cup of coffee my self say ladies I'll take a scone if you have any extra. I've been thinking that some fresh chocolate chip cookies sure sound nice too. Boy here comes the pounds.

Bring on the Lemon Curd!!! After a short visit here, with scones and tea, and friends, I will be heading to my mom's to go to the daffodil farm and a favorite nursery. I think I will have some daffodil blooms sent to a friend in Alaska. A little spring in the midst of tons of snow should be nice.

I can't sit with you all, i am sneezing and coughing my brains out, got myself one heck of a cold, and when I bend over, my head feels like its gonna explode. Could use some hot water with honey and lemon in it thou, lol. Stay warm all, I've got rain again, and its wonderful.

Good morning! I just thaweed some strawberries. Would you care for some over waffles?
Well let's see what can we do with that sour milk--it would go good in cookies or maybe a kuchen.
This is the season for colds, please take care and get well soon. Thanks for not giving it to those of us on the porch.
Anybody bring their instruments, this would be a good day to listen to some music while we are working on a project.
Enjoy your day!

Music sounds good today. I'm busy though, have a baby shower for my youngest daughter and newest granddaughter (not here yet though)! Had coffee and scrambled eggs w/ham and rosemary. Can't have all ya'lls sweet things blood sugars up this morning :( Have fun today. Be well and stay warm. It's warm in Texas today!

Simply Thankful,

There's definitely a lot to celebrate on the porch. Just to add a little more reason to celebrate: my basketball team won! I would love sit and knit awhile. But alas, it's sleeting here in Wisconsin, so I won't be able to sit on the porch. But I will watch the pretty snow from the inside.
God's Blessings,

good afternoon, ladies! it's been awhile since i was able to sit on the porch... hope all is well! it is snowing outside here, but i've missed the snow! it seems everyone else is getting this winter weather except us, which is not normally the case. i'm waiting for my deep dish chicken pie to cool and then i can cut us a slice. we always have so much yummy food here on the porch!

It feels so great to be on the porch again. I've been away for a week or so, doing the Mardi Gras! I need to rest.
Tea sounds grand! I'll just sit and listen to all of you for a while.

Ahh! Tea sounds great. I just got some local honey and a candle that smells like tea & honey from Yankee. It was such a beautiful day today after the cold snap! I feel the need to bake!

It's all good!

Yes, tea! Had a good day with my daughter just kicking around in the old downtown of the town up the road. Now I am ready to just sit and visit, and look at my new Somerset magazine. Anyone want to look with me?
