Hey Farmgirls.....it's time again to ask you to round the wagons and add a few extra prayers for the Jensen family.

I just put my Mom in the hospital last night, some sort of upper GI episode involving blood. Very scary. She is old and frail and meaner than a snake.
I just had kidney surgery on Monday and my hubby just had another spinal surgery two weeks ago. That's why I am asking for a "blue light special" as we call it now (thanks Patricia)

I mean, enough is enough! I need all the help I can get!

Thanks gals. Love you all.

Dianne - praying for your strength and healing. And I will be praying for your hubby and mother. Why do things always happen all at once? Take care, friend and fellow farmgirl.

Diane, the 3 of you are on my prayer list.

Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts and support. It means alot to me.
Mom is home and ornery as ever. Doesn't want to do any of the things the Dr. prescribed so this colon thing doesn't happen again (parts of her colon are dying from not getting enough oxygen...this is serious stuff). What do you do with a woman like that?

I had my stint removed yesterday...owww! But am feeling better. Thanks for all your concern. Love ya!

Good Mornin' Diane

I hope all is well with you today.....as well as it can be. You be sure to take care of yourself. You can't be any help to anyone else, especially your mom, if you're down.

I don't know what you do about the mean streak. My grandmother was often mean during her stay with us. I think that sometimes it's like a wounded dog.....biting at the hand that's trying to help. Plus, I also think it's a "show" to cover up fear or anger.

I often just got in my Nanny's face and told her she had to do as I said. Sometimes I'd just walk out and leave her alone with no one to give her attention. I think she liked being fussed over.....it made her feel loved.

Prayers are still being lifted.....hang in there!

Blessings
Catherine
