                      | MaryJanesFarm is holding a contest for all Young Cultivator artists.
Attached is a Hexagon template for artists to draw within. It is the correct size, actual size. www.farmgirlsisterhood.org/badges-hexagon.pdf (You will need to print out the hexagon and draw your artwork inside of the hexagon).

Artwork will need to be black and white (pencil/pen); simple drawings (need to be embroiderable); and fit within the hexagon's dashed lines. Anyone age 13 or younger can enter.

When submitting your artwork, please make sure to write your name, your age, your mom's name and Farmgirl-connection user ID.

All *originals* should be mailed to:
René Groom, 1442 Sunset Drive, Prosser WA. 99350
(Please make duplicates for your keeping, as they will not be returned. Remember to mail the original to me.)

The winners will be chosen by the deisgn team at MaryJanesfarm. Their choices will be based on relevance of the image, and simplicity and clarity of the drawing.

The winner will have their artwork made into the badge that the farm will send out to all YC's upon completion of the badge requirements.

Badges that YC are to design:
 • Each Other / Thank You! (with a suggestion of an Envelope)
 • Each Other / Families Forever (with a suggestion of Stick-figure
 family members)
 • Garden Gate / Horsing Around (with a suggestion of ... a Horse!)
 • Out There Kids / Lean on Me (with a suggestion of a Teepee)
 • Stitching & Crafting / Weaving In and Out (with a suggestion of
 Stick-figure friends holding hands)

Deadline for Drawings is February 19th with winners being named in early March. We will post winners on this thread. If you have questions, please feel free to email me at Rene@MaryJanesfarm.org

                      | Thanks, Rene'! I did tell Miss G you had been sick, she said she's praying you're all better. LOL Yes, I think this was a neat idea for the kids to get involved. Thank you!
