Hello, I am new here. We live outside Houston. We moved here from Ohio this past July.

I am married to George almost 13 years and we have one daughter who is 5.

I love gardening, needlework, reading, and just puttering around the house. I am a stay at home Mom. I do some work from home. I do payroll and accounting work.

I am glad to meet everyone.

No matter where you live and what you do you will fit right in and love your new sisters. I love working outside and today was a very nice day so I went raking pine needles. All I can say is spring is here for I raked up a snake. Small but just the same a snake. The girls are great here have a question just ask. Go on the bargin and swap sites they are fun as well. Hi Amy, I am from outside Houston too, but that is a huge area LOL. I was a stay at home Mom until my girls all left for college. I have been in Houston for 16 year this time and went to Jr. Hi and High School in Baytown. My sister and I are both on MJ's and she lives here too. Maybe we can get together again like we did before at Casa Ole'. Welcome to Houston, and Welcome to MJ's. If you need anything feel free to contact me.

Would that be on the west side of Houston? I am not really familiar with the area. We are on the south east side in Clear Lake right by Nasa.

Eastside. It is called North Shore. Not far from the Pasadena Bridge on the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8). I am about 15 minutes or so from Baytown.

I am finding my way around now. Went to Galveston over the weekend.

I learned to go to Galveston an easier way. Take the Pasadena Bridge (ship channel) and get off at the first exit, which is 225. turn right and take it to 146 and take that south to 45. I miss all the traffic and mess. I don't care for the highway drive. I lived in a small town in Ohio and didn't travel highways very often. So I am excited.

That is a great way to get to Galveston. I grew up and graduated High School in Baytown. We are pretty close then I am just off Beltway 8 and I45. Let me know if you need any info about this area I have been here way to long. LOL. It was a great weekend for Galveston. We went horseback riding at Jack Brooks the Galveston County Park. Not actually in Galveston but a nice part for riding or hiking.
