Hello! I just joined last week - I'm from PEI in Canada! I've already jumped in full board and have joined the mail art swap, easter card swap and recipe swap and started a chapter - with two people already interested in joining!! I'm really looking forward to learning more about MJF. I live on 130 acres in rural PEI - in a farm house, and soon to be chickens, goats, beef and more hobby farm animals as soon as it warms up a bit here....we just moved here in August of last year from BC. I grew up out in the country (same with my hubby) so it's wonderful to live out in the country again. We have two adorable children - almost 4 and almost 2!

So.....as I'm going through this I noticed I am now a Farm Girl in Training???? The stars underneath our name??? What does this mean? What does a true blue farm girl mean - how do we get our stars to be more? One more question - how do we know what farm girl number we are?

Welcome Joyce! I am fairly new myself! The stars depend on the number of posts you have made as does the title Farmgirl in Training, Farmgirl at heart, etc. When you join the farmgirl sisterhood, you will receive a number and red hexagon under your name, and at that point you can also begin earning merit badges for completing projects such as going green, knitting, and gardening. The website will have more info.
Hope this helps! Welcome again! So glad you have joined us!

Welcome Joyce Coming to Prince Edward Island is on my Bucket list I have wanted to come since I fell in love with Anne of Green Gable years and years ago. My daughter's middle name is Anne "with and e" I visited BC a couple of years ago with my hubby and it was so beautiful. The closest I have ever been to PEI is Maine. I loved it too!
