what kind of e-mails are you talking about, personal from other girls on this site, or when ever someone posts to a thread that you have subscribed to?
"Treat the earth well, it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children"
The e-mails are to notify us of new postings. I always look at the "greeting" and make the choice to read the new posting or not. Since I am interested in certain ones those are the ones I go to and review. The others if I do not have time I just delete. Life goes on, it is all about choices. It is my understanding that we get notified everytime new postings are processed.

You only get emails if you have subscribed to a topic. If you want to lose the emails just unsubscribe.
If you have accidently subscribed or decided that a subscription to a thread is no longer wanted, look in the upper right hand corner and you should see a string of clickable links that look likes this:
Home | Profile | Register | Active Topics | My Subscriptions | Members | Search | FAQ
Click on "My Subscriptions" and once that screen has loaded, you will see a list of every topic you have subscribed to. On the far right hand side, simply click "unsubscribe."
I can see if a new farmgirl subsribed to a site and did not know that each add on to the site would end up as an email to her could be overwelming. That is why we have the choice. Any way welcome from a still learning farmgirl in Virginia. Lilly
