Way to go girl, the new green yarn is lovely. I told you about this fiber addiction and now you know Grace is an enabler...next thing will be sheep, goats, llamas..bunnies???? Just keep spinning and maybe the worry of having this new addiction will go away...NOT!

LOL you have got the bug and it doesn't go away, sorry!!! hehehehehehe those fibers are beautiful!! Got a new nigora buckling today so I hope next year to have some natural colored fibers . he is so cute!!!

His name is midnight and his father was a purebred angora, black, and mom was a brown nigerian. He came from triplets, himself and his 2 sisters that were black and white. I hope to get a black and white one next year after breeding him.

I just love my baby goats. hehehehehehe and I love their fluffy fleece to make stuff out of too!!! 2 for one!!!!

these are my other 2 from this year. they also have a beautiful other sister . There were triplets from the mom in the background. She does not her her full fleece yet but she also has a really nice fleece that she gets in the winter too. I am going to have some colorful yarn next year. The one doeling is like a champagne color. just beauitful...

it sure is!!! I took midnight for a walk around our property today and we stopped so he could nibble for a while. It was just so fun!!! I know my dogs are fun too but this was just so different, hard to describe really but just so peaceful!!! Goats are great!!! funny too!!

Wish me luck, I'm packed up to go to the downtown festival and spin.
I have all of grace's beautiful fibers, some local ones and business cards for local yarn,fiber and spinning wheel shops.
also I got some flyers for the Babe Spinning wheels from the inventor!
I'm excited to go, and a little scared, but should be fun.
I'll report back on how things went.

Wow, I had fun, got a second shower and sunburn, but fun too!
Met a lot of people and talked about the Babe spinning wheel.
I sure would do it again!
Grace, I met someone from your neck of the woods...Julie Tompkins from Colorado Springs,Co. She noticed your fiber I had out and we struck up a conversion. She told me about her Alpacas, I may buy a fleece from her to play with some dyeing.
Talk about a small world huh.
I better unload the Jeep and put stuff away, I'm beat, and spun longer today that I have ever before.
I'm pooped, but happy I went.

I am so happy for your Karen - I knew you would have a great day. Yes, I do remember the name - I have sold all my alpaca's but still get their fleeces so I do not do the show circuit anymore. Hope you enjoyed spinning the fibers you purchased from me and I would love to see how they turned out if you have a chance.

Hi Karen, sounds like you had a great time. I had hoped to make it down there, but I am dealing with spider bite,and was not hobbling around to well. Sounds like you got lots of practice time!!
