Greetings -

I live in the high desert of rural Nevada with 3 dogs, a cat, 17 hens, one rooster, one husband and our 20 year old son (our two daughters have already left he nest). My husband (gently and lovingly) laughs at me and says I am not a farmer. But - I have chickens, therefore - I farm! As all of us here agree - being a farmgirl is a state of mind. Farm on!

Looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone!

Miss Karla

Welcome from another Rural Nevada Farmgirl!!
Yes, FarmGirl is a state of mind! I'm surrounded by ranchers, but I'd rather be a farm girl!

Welcome from AZ!

I'm new too and I also live on a high desert plateau.

I'm sure this will be a lot of fun!
