I have been a member for about a year now and have never said " Howdy". Can y'all believe it?!?
Well let me tell you all about myself.
I am 15 years old ( not the youngest any more on here ). I am the third oldest of 4 children ( the oldest being almost 20 and the youngest being 14). I have the best set of parents any girl could ever ask for in my mom and dad who have been married 20 years. We live on an acre and a half in the most beautiful country in Washington ( I think ). We have a nice big garden, trees for shade, a small orchard of fruit trees, etc. We have ten beautiful animals that live on our place. Oreo and Cocoa are two rabbits that me and my sister share. A barn cat named Kelby that is my sisters. A dog whos name is Ginger, that all of us kids share. And last but not least, my 6 beautiful goats that I can't keep my mouth shut about ( ask any of these kind ladies). I have 2 bucks named Eli and Joey. Eli is 3 months old and Joey is 1 year old. And then I have my girls, Esther is the oldest at 4 almost 5 years old, then comes Esther's baby from last year Sadie Mae who is 1 years old, then comes SadieMae's baby first baby Ebony Jane at 5 months, and last comes Esther's baby from this year Elinor Mae. I was blessed with 4 beautiful babies this year from my 2 girls SadieMae and Esther. Sadie had 1 girl and Esther had 2 girls and one boy. But sadly one of the girls didn't make it, her name was faith and she was stillborn but she will be forever in my heart. :) All my girls will become milkers and right now we are having so much milk from two of them!
What did I tell you, I got carried away with my goats again. lol Hope y'all can forgive me.
Anyway... I am homeschooled and have been all my life. So are my brothers and sister. My name is Hannah, and after 2 years I am still deciding if I want a C in front of it or not. lol But y'all can call me Hannah or Han. When I'm not doing school you'll find me: Crocheting, sewing, cleaning , reading my bible, chatting on here, baking, cooking, yammerin ( not to sure how you spell that word, spelling was never my cup of tea it you take my meanin') about my goats, writing letters, putting goodie boxes together and mailing them to farmgirls, taping dancing my heart out, sing ( although I'm none to good at it), and the list could just go on and on.
Well i think that covers it. Ya'll want to hear more about my goats?!?! No I'm just kiddin with ya. :) Hope this helps you to get to know me better. Hugs from you farmgirl sis, Hannah or Channah.

Very cute! Don't know if you intended the pun or not about, "just kiddin' around" but it made me chuckle :-) I like smilies, too... you'll see them on pretty much every posting I do (hee hee) <-- I like to giggle, too :-) I will try to remember to call you Han, cuz it's close to Hon (short for honey --& every posting you make to someone is so sweet :-) You're close in age to my oldest daughter who turned 16 in April. Wish we could have goats or animals, we just have our lil rescue pooch Daschund/Jack russell, Lulu --would love it if she'd moo or baaa or something :-) We don't live on a farm, but have a good wannabe farmette going here in the burbs with a greenhouse, rain barrel, raised garden beds loaded with herbs and veggies, apple trees, blueberry bushes, etc... I could go on & on :-) So glad you posted more about you & your family! :-)

So good to hear more about ya Channah :) So, you never introduced yourself on here when you first started? And who here is younger than you? I thought you were the youngest.

Well, Han. I was so glad to read your bio. As I have looked around the chats, I have always been impressed by how welcoming and positive you are. You certainly have made me feel that way (along with many others). I was not surprised to hear you are homeschooled. My 3 grandchildren are and as a retired teacher I must say, I think it is one of the best things that has happened to them and "us" as an extended family. I love when it is my day to help out! Can you tell me, what does bump or bumping mean? Have a great day. Rebecca

Homeschooling is the best. We raised 5 kids which are now their 30s and homeschooling was a blessing in many ways.
Rebecca- bumping is when you make a reply to get a post to the top of the list.
Channah- You didn't say what kind of goats you had. Alpine, Nubian,Sannen etc? I miss my goats, wish I had a BARN, then I would definitely have some! :)
Make my words soft and tender, for I may have to eat them. :) |
