The landscaper transferred my already sick rose bushes....now they look dead....any advice welcomed on my Mary rose bushes by DAvid Austin.......these were my pride and joy. I'd love to see them bounce back before I go back to India. ANY advice appreciated.

vitamin b12 and keep damp, there is also stuff for transplant shock, roses do not like being moved, especialy this time of year, should only be done when they are dormant.

teresa is right on. i would shade them till they settle. lots of vit. b and bone meal and seaweed will de-stress them some.hope it helps. if you spray the kelp or seaweed be sure to spray before sunlight hits the leaves. the pores are open and seaweed or kelp can get in through leaf surface. only before sun.just a thought happy days sherrye

Bev, you may want to trim your rose bushes back. The less foliage the plant has to try and maintain while stressed the sooner the plant will recover. Lots of water too!
I've got a farmgal in Kalamazoo. |
