My husband and I were loading hay (square bales). We tossed the last bale on the truck and as I was getting in he says "We have a new cat" This tiny kitten maybe 4 wks old was all bones and trying to catch grasshoppers for something to eat. To say the least she was in sad shape. We took her to the nearest towns grocery store and bought food. She dug right in and we brought her home to our farm. She is very happy here but our dog isnt so keen on the idea but she will adjust. We named her meadow since she game from a hay meadow.
Aww so sweet! There's nothing like a new little kitty! My son found a kitty under a hay stack last summer when doing hay for his wife's uncle. He brought it home because he knew if he didn't it would probably die out there. She turned into the nicest healthiest cat! Have fun with her!

"If you have made mistakes, there is always another chance for you. You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down. "~ Mary Pickford
You are a wonderful person to take the kitten in. Good for you! Meadow is a beautiful name. Thank you for saving and loving her. Marly
"It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had." Elisabeth Kurler-Ross
Meadow is so content and happy here. We were putting up fence this weekend and she is laying there by us watching when the holstein came up to inspect things. She didn't like that at all:D I sent him on his way and she was fine again.
