Hi L'Tanya, Welcome from the North Georgia Mountains! I used to live in Bahama, NC many years ago! I'm only about 20 miles from Murphy, NC now, but a long way from Durham!

| Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate it. Hallie, I've always considered myself a closet farmer. Finally I can let her out. I love the idea of earning the merit badges for stuff I was already doing or planning to learn to do. I've been knitting and crocheting for years, just started gardening about 3 years ago and am planning to learn to can. |

Yes! It is nice to have a place to let out our inner farmgirls! And I hear you about the merit badges. For me, the badges are kind of a pretext and a kick in the pants all in one for working on some of the projects that I want to do.
