Have been montering for several days now and feel so comfortable already! I too am a farm girl at heart, and have finally made it back out to a rural setting. I'm 72 yrs young(most of the time), cancer suviorer for 32 yrs., been retired for 31 yrs., have 5 children of the human kind, 3 dogs(spoiled), 3 inside cats(spoiled), 2 outside cats (barn variety, also spoiled). Also have the good fortune of living next door to my very good friends, they have 8 chickens, which I throw bread to every day so they are spoiled and they also have 3 horses that get bread also so they are spoiled. I like to sew, crochet, craft, tole paint, cook, canning plus all the other stuff that mkes life interesting. I am never bored, to much to see and do. I also do a Support group in town for Weight loss, Diabetic control and Heart Health. I have lost 168#s by learing how to eat healthy, and try to help others along their journey. This is a highlight of what I do and am about, I hope I can contribute at times. You all have a wonderful day!!Lola
Every day, in every way, I become better and better. |

Howdy Lola! I'm also new to this site but also feel at home already. I think we're among some pretty great gals! Way to go on the weight loss! Very inspiring. Nice to meet you, hope we get to chat again.

P.s. I've been playing around with the spelling of my name ( weird I know) and I've decided that I will stick with Hannah for good. Sorry I got you all confused. Hugs!! |

So wonderful seeing all the messages welcoming me, relly made my day!!! Saturday is my run day, go to my meeting A.M. then to the day old bread store to pick up the animal bread, then to the grocery store, you see who rates first on the food chain at my house.LOL Although growing up we were always told the animals eat before we did and it still holds true for me now. Then for my treat of the week I go out for lunch. I have an older gentleman that we sit together nearly every week and visit. Always makes for a pleasant time. By the time I get home put everything up it is almost suppertime for the dogs and cats, and they sure let me know if I'm running late. The big white Tom I have also lets me know when it is lunch time too, as I give him the tuna pouch to lick out.LOL Love my fur kids. Need to run for now as it is drawing close to bed time and still have to put the pups out for a bit. You all have a wonderful night, I'll be back on tomorrow, I hope. Luv ya all!!! Lola

Hi everyone, Have been trying to get my house in order. I came back to my house after being away for a year, although I was only about 4 miles away, I was a 24/7 care giver to my next door neighbor's mother for right at a year she passed away the end of May and I then stayed with the house after they listed it to help get everything in order. I did get to come out and throw bread to the horses and chickens(that aren't mine)LOL and to check and feed my kitty girls in the house and my outside cats. John and Donna(my next door neighborstell me I spoil everything on the place.LOL I also got the cat from the house and he has been a real joy also, he always lets me know when it is lunch or suppertime. He get to lick the salmond or tuna pouch each day, then when I feed the dogs at night their chicken and rice he thinks he has to have some.LOL
Diane I was up in Wis. the end of Sept at the Cranberry Festival, had to go get my yearly supply of cranberries and my flax seed. I got 30#'s of cranberries this year as I ran out from what I got last year. I do so love that festival and go there with my daughter, she has had a booth there for several years and I go to help. It is a very tiring show to do. I'm sorta out of the groove as I've not done any shows on my own for about 9 years. There are times I really miss it and other times I don't I did shows for abour 34-40 years. Always had loads of fun and got to meet a lot of interesting people.
You all have a great day, will talk to you later. Luv Ya!!!!!!!!! Lola
