We took our 12 year old sp needs daughter into ER on Monday night. They say she's suffered a stroke. They're running a lot of tests and don't have any answers at this point. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

We have a Sp needs fellow at our church, & he ended up in the hospital a couple of years ago with some severe clotting & kidney issues. He NEVER complained so his mom & dad had no idea.
Thankfully now all is well, & I pray your daughter fares as well.
I just love him. He hugs me every time I see him. |

Prayers are on the way. Parents of special needs kids have great challenges and are very special people. I can only imagine the worry and pain of having a child in the hospital for a possible stroke at such a young age. Please keep us posted how your daughter is doing!

**Update**
Thank you for your prayers. They're greatly appreciated and needed.
They've done a gamut of tests on her at our local hospital. The top neurologist has seen her and done (2) MRIs, (2) CT scans, and lots of diff ultrasounds of her legs, heart, etc. She had to be transferred to a larger hospital in order to get a TEE (a type of ultrasound of her heart that's done under general anesthesia) as there wasn't a pediatric cardiologist who could do this as it follows a certain pediatric life support protocol.
She has had several strokes while at the hospital and the attending neurologists have been present to see a couple.
We just arrived at 12:30 a.m. and finished with the docs by 2:30 this morning. We don't know why these are happening and docs don't know how to prevent them from happening, so we wait for more tests and doctors to see her.
Thank you for your continued prayers and I will update again when I know more.
