Indeed. It happened right down the road from friends homes and my sister's office in Tucson, AZ. We are so saddened and shocked by this awful shooting!
I started praying the minute I heard about the shooting, and will definitely continue to do so. Those poor people. I can't even imagine what everyone is going through. God bless them.
Sometimes, I simply cannot believe this insane world we live in.

God gave us two hands... one to help ourselves, and one to help others!
Very sad indeed to see this happen in our country and in our world. It doesn't matter what state we live in or where we live. We start the New Year off with so much hope. We are barely to the 8th day of the new year before this new horror smacks us, no matter where we live and what age we are and what our politics are. Sadly there is so much hate that breeds this kind of insanity. It is so heartbreaking to see the peace and calm and hope for a better year get shattered into pieces. I will be praying for those that were hurt and lost their lives and all who witnessed this sickening act of violence. I will be praying for our Congresswoman and her full recovery and for her family and friends who have to go through this agony. I will be praying that the power of prayer is stronger than the darkness and insanity that runs in our midst and destroys in our society.
Glad that Gabby is doing so well after what happened. I hope we definitely keep up our prayers for her and for the doctors who are doing a great job and for all who are recovering as well as all those who lost loved ones.
