Today it is 4 yrs. since my bog brother passed away. I still miss him so much but I also know it was better for him to go. He was too sick with the cancer ravaging through his body. But that doesn't diminish the fact I miss him. ( I forgot to post this picture of him. Not the best, but my fave because of his big smile

And I am sick with the flue, yuck Called in sick yesterday and also staying home today. NOT fun. I am SOOO tired as well, all my joints ache, head hurts etc. Just feeling bad all over.

Please pray for a quick recovery and for me to feel not too sad today

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Marian, I am sorry for the loss of your brother. I hope you feel better fast. Too bad you did not get your MJF magazine yet. It would be nice to curl up with a hot cup of tea and MJF! Your necklace should arrive soon, maybe that will cheer you up!

Marian, we will always miss the people we loved who leave us--and it's absolutely "ok". It was 18 years on the 18th of January, that my daddy passed. I was devastated--it was sudden and he was far away from home working so we weren't with him. It does get better, but you should never forget the people that you love or have touched your life so.

I can see why that's your favorite picture, Marian! Your brother looks like he was a lot of fun to be with! I'm sure you are still missing him terribly. They never really leave us, though... they are always still very much alive in our hearts and memories. I think that's why we miss them so much. I hope that you'll be feeling better very soon. 'Not fun going through this AND having the flu on top of it all, is it? 'Wish I could bring you a big container of homemade chicken soup and help you through this. Big hugs and lots of prayers - Nini

Marian I saw your tribute to your brother on your blog. I was in tears as I am now. I understand the missing and truly understand why you did not want him to continue to deal with the pain and stuggles of Cancer. It has only been 6 months since I lost my Marvin to Cancer. 23 since my Momma passed away from cancer as well. I still miss her like it was yesterday. I'm sending you a hug across the ocean. Praying you are feeling better as you read this. You are in my thoughts and prayers dear...Pink Sister !! lol !!

Hugs...Kristy

@Kristy. Thank you for reading the tribute on my blog.

@Jeannie. Yes it IS wonderful to have 2 big brothers :)I reaaly was their little sister. My brother in Thailand still calls me "little sis" lol. He is only 5 yrs older than me and my BB was 12 yrs older so truly am a little sis to both.

Thanks for all the sweet comments. It is not that I was very sad, just still miss him so much. But indeed it was better for him to go...he was in too much pain. And the flue, ah well...it too will pass.

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands :)

Hi Marian, Praying today you are feeling better physically, and that you will be all better real soon.
I love the photo of your "big" brother, what a wonderful smile! - memories are so special and they are part of you forever - I know you treasure them.
Hugs and prayers,
Ruth
