I spent two hours today in my garden in the sunshine. It was wonderful. I started out getting wood for our woodstove and then wandered into the garden and pulled a few weeds, then next thing got the shovel out. Before I new it two hours had passed and I had dug up and turned over about half of my vegetable garden. It was fabulous.My dogs were laying in the sunshine happy as could be. Then I went in the house and made a batch of streusel muffins and some double fudge brownies. The house smells great. What a gratifying day.

Ingrid, I had one of those gratifing days yesterday. Today, it turned cold and windy. Tonight it is supposet to start rain/sleet/snow. The temp is supposed to drop to below 0. Could have snow for the next 3 days. Wish I had spent more than a couple of hours out side yesterday. Gotta go put another log on the fire.
