In our state they are cutting back our fair funding next year to $500,000 to cover all Washington State fairs. Our local fair costs $48,000 just to run. Having our fair is becoming a year by year chance game. Grrr! They are also trying to pass a bill that would cut all the 4H and FFA prize money. Double Grrr!! I'm praying and hoping that the bill won't pass....

That really ----s! Why don't they cut legislators salaries instead? here in Illinois they've cut the Extension program. They always seem to cut things that rural people need. Guess country people aren't as important as people in the big cities. I hope your fair goes on and you win some prizes.

Yeah they are ding it all over . Yesterday our PBS station said they are cutting funds there also.

It just makes me mad and sad at the same time. It would affect alot of people if the bill went through. :(
