She was a mother to me, my sweet grandma. I will miss her terribly even though I know she is in a much better place where she is healed and whole again. Today has been incredibly difficult for us, her loved ones... prayers for us who are grieving our loss are appreciated.

Oh, Bren - my Grandma was the same to me. My heart hurts for yours. It's so hard. I understand. I will pray for you and all those who love your Grandma. I'm also here if you ever need to "talk," okay? Love and hugs - Nini

Iam very new to this group but I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your grandma. I saw my grandma (Nana) everday until she died in 1975-and I still miss her. There is just something so very special about that relationship. Please know that you are in my heart and I hope your memories will confort you now.

Bren, I am so sorry for you. My GM lived next door to me and when I was married I brought her home with me one day and she died at my house that night in her sleep. That was 1970. So I do feel your pain. It will get better because you have wonderful memories. Prayers for you and your family.

Be Blessed,

My condolences, Bren. I do understand the pain of losing her. My Great Grandmother and I were very close. She taught me, at a very young age, how to embroider, sew by hand, cook, and read. She passed on 29 years ago, but it feels like yesterday. My heart goes out to you. Blessings to you and yours.

Bren, I'm so sorry. I know you will always miss her. But you are right about her being in a better placed where there is no pain. Only happiness. But that hole will always be there. It is for me too. I will be praying for you and your family.

Hugs, Kris

Bren, I am so sorry. Nothing can replace her I am sure. She must have been a very special person and a gift for you. Even though she is in a better place, she must have left many memories for you to recall in the following years. Bless you.

thank you all for your kindness. This is really difficult for me, as she was in all matter of being, my mother too. She was my last source of unconditional love here on earth. I was so blessed to have her the almost 50 years of my life. I am just such a wreck, cant stop sobbing for any length of time. I am trying and praying that I can get control enough to be presentable at her memorial service next Tuesday. I just miss her already and will have a HUGE void the rest of my life... just gotta learn to live with it. Thank you again.

Bren I am so sorry for your loss. I can totally relate. Growing up my grandparents lived next door to me and when my parents divorced when I was 9 years old- they became my parents. I understand what you are feeling and pray that you can find peace in knowing she is in a much better place and also comfort in all of your memories of times spent with her.
Hugs,
Laurie

Bren I am so sorry for your loss. Grief. How do you describe it to someone who has never been there? Thats a rhetorical question of course. My thoughts are with you, sending peace and strength to you and yours.
