In May I did 3 barters with 3 gals for a LOT of new scholasitic books------received a return from 1 of the 3. One gal who didn't return my barter got 23 books.....the other 17. Today I got 2 returns from recent barters that is making me smile ear to ear-----thanks Mari-lyn for the beautiful dishes...Debora for the book. This is cause to celebrate my birthday a little early.....
I would think that after a resonable amount of time and maybe a reminder or 2 email, and you still receive nothing...I would be wanting to make a running list of the ones who do not follow thru with the promise they made regarding a return barter and post them here at "Farmgirl Barter" so others know not to barter with them, its a sad thing, but there are bad in all walks of life...

I'm shocked that someone wouldn't follow through with the book barter. I got one box (and did send Beverly stuff! :) ) and the books are AWESOMELY WONDERFUL. So sorry this happened to you Beverly. :( I enjoy trading with you and am glad you didn't give up! :)
no I haven't-----I can only hope these gal friends will come through when their time is right.

You know...Beverly...the ones who do follow through really make up for the ones who don't...I think we all have been there. There have been such wonderful trades on this site and I thank you all for things we have traded...wonderful! Hugs, Mary
