Always be cautious. Always trust your instincts. Just like with the sex offender usually we can just "know". It doesn't mean we have to be mean, we can still be courteous and gracious. But, there's a scripture in the bible I like to use a lot, innocent as doves, and cautious as serpents. In my opinion this means we on our part should be nice, and not do mean things, but it doesn't mean that we let others do mean things to us either, we would also be on guard and cautious as well, when in certain circumstances-this is one of those. Same with some one you who just makes your neck hairs raise and you think "rapist". While you don't really need to be mean to such a person, you would exercise all the caution that you should with a rapist-never be alone with him, always aware of where he is in relevance to yourself, etc etc. Being nice, and christian doesn't mean being stupid. lol ;o) Be careful and document. Your own diaries are often held up in court over video! I've seen it. So always keep good diaries of such. It may come in to play some day.

I agree with Laura. Most CNAs work so hard for so little. They have saved me more than once. They get so little reward or recognition for the hard work they do. I love having a good CNA on my team. Joey
