. . .and my body is aching all over from just cleaning out flower beds. I forgot what hard work it was. I am please with my progress today, but have much more to do yet. And yes...my jammies are on while I am making dinner

We are in the middle of a week of rainy weather, really need the moisture but I'm longing to get out and grow things. Yes, it is hard work, but so worth it. Get a good nights rest, that usually comes after work in the fresh air and be ready to head out again tomorrow. We've started seeds inside, pruned trees, vines, etc. but I want more.
Enjoy!
Susan

Oh Kristi,
I feel your pain! Funny how the aches and pains remind us so quickly of what hard work it is! But, overall it is a GOOD ACHE (if there is indeed such a thing!). LOL
Rest up, and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
Hugs,

I was able to get all the black plastic mulch and frames, and everything out of our garden. And, clean out one of my smaller flowerbeds. But, yesterday we had UGLY, HORRID wind that was not meant for living creatures to be out in, not to mention trying to do yard work. Today we've had snow, rain, wind and it's cold . . . again. No outdoor work today except to take pictures of our new calf, "Pepper" . . you can go check those out in Barnyard Buddies.

You should have heard me moaning and groaning last night! Ha ha ha! Hubby laughed at me. Every muscle aches today too. I am glad I pushed myself to get a start on it. Today they are calling for bad thunderstorms at noon. I have many much more to clean out yet, so I am glad God gave me a break today. My behind hurts so much from bending over, I had to walk very slowly to the barn to see our newest baby goat this morning. It's a boy. My daughter (16 yo) should have photos up later on her own blog.

I have to say, even though I am in pain, it was sooooo nice to be out in my element.

It's raining here today, and yesterday. Yesterday we had thunderstorms. I am still sore, yet today. I guess I need to get back in shape - ha ha!

I got a lot done in the yard too, and felt it after! Now I've got inside to do. It's raining here, too, but am so thankful it's not snow! Feel for ya CeeJay, darlin'!

Well girls, it's been snowing here and unseasonably cold and snowy here with no end in sight. Looks like we will have a really late spring.

Didn't have much time today but I did get out and get one flowerbed cleaned out, as well as my herb garden and one rock garden. Have two more big flowerbeds to go (the most difficult ones) and one rock garden. The weather this week has been VERY uncooperative so it's been hard to get out. Glad for progress today!

I had to work today and then went to the library for a local pet rescue/adoption day with my daughter. Although we are not in the market for a new pet, we went to show our support, and make a donation.
Didnt get out in the gardens at all, but I am hoping to get out there tomorrow. Its supposed to be sunny and in the mid- upper 50's. We did manage to clean out our sunroom today, which I am thrilled about! Hubby did most of it while I was at work, and then I finished it up. Cant wait to sit out there tomorrow morning with my tea! It is so peaceful and relaxing out there!
CJ- sounds like you are getting alot done, day by day!
There is nothing like the feeling of satisfaction that you get from working outside.
Hugs,
