This is pointed to nobody in perticular...when someone posts asking for advice, our opinions and or help or states their own advice or opinion of some of our countrys problems, and its given, then that person does not like what is said, or takes in the wrong way, said person then gets upset and crys foul...that is not fair, it makes someone out to be the bad guy, who in turn gets nasty statements on said post, or they get nasty emails from some...I my self have had this done to me, I have thick skin so it just rolls off me, but there are other who are very hurt by this...people tend to miss read between the lines cause this is a chat room and without the benift of voice tones and facial expressions what has been said can be taken many ways...that being said, when any of us start a topic, make sure before you hit post, you are ready for peoples reactions, either for your opinion, or against...life is too short...

I didn't realize that this sort of thing was the reason some were contemplating leaving the forum. I don't really get into the topics that are or can be controversial.
I just like to come, chat and learn new things in the way of homemaking, animals, and just sharing the things I love.

O, a trouble's a ton or a trouble's an ounce,
Or a trouble is what you make it!
And it isn't the fact that you're hurt that counts,
But only--how did you take it?

I agree Tina ...
Here are my 2 cents ...when you "ask" for opinions ... you have to take good with bad.
So when you "ask" be prepared that you may not get the answer you want from everyone.
And, yes life is way to short for petty bs.

Deborah, the only thing bad for me is my Dads illness, i don't care if someone deceids they don't like me for a petty reason, I have made a few life time friends by being on this forum, and have alot of best friends off of here also, along with a very close family...
