Thank you so much for all your sweet comments! Sharon, we rejoice in our family every day ,that we had Christian Parents and Grand Parents who taught us to pray as soon as we could talk! and I am so thankful to be blessed !!!by being a part of this Farm Girl Sisterhood!

Oh my gosh, Connie! Melissa is BEAUTIFUL! Just GAW-JUS! With a light like that in her eyes, she can overcome anything! Will still be praying her through! Please give her a hug for me when you can!

Connie, Melissa is sooo gorgeous and tell her she looks very fashionable with that lovely scarf on her head. Prayers will continue for her. What a remarkable family you have. I came from one as well and know we have all been blessed by God. All I can say: My God is an AWESOME God!!!!!

It is because of beautiful people like FARM GIRLS!! praying for Melissa that she is doing well!!!!!!! if you would like to pet a dog, they are available at Chemo every week! isn't that just a blessing!!!

Thank you Shannon!! She is having a rough day today, just talked to her mom, extreme nausea after the treatment this past Thursday! As a animal lover !!!I just adore that people bring in their pets and the owners also visit with the patients! My Aunt said, to spend one afternoon at the West Cancer Center, and see the outpouring of kindness and helping hands( especially to patients who have no family who can be with them,)is such a blessing!!! There are men and women there from churches all over the tri-state area giving blankets, quilts, stuffed dolls, books and magazines, food and drink and their beloved pets!

Pet Therapy is just the best! I am glad the chemo center allows them in for patients. Keeping Melissa in my prayers as the treatments are rough. I hope they can address the nausea issue better with adjustments in her medications that control the side effects. Such a difficult journey she is on!

Melissa is so beautiful - and to keep on smiling like she is - she must be one tough girl! I pray the chemo is ridding her body of all the cancer and that she isn't sick from her treatments for long.

Ceejay! Never a truer statement! My pets are an endless comfort to me and my family! They know when you don't feel well.
Melissa starts a new round of Chemo Tomorrow, and it will be every Thursday for 12 weeks. Radiation follows after that!!! They did get her something for nausea that helped very much!
Isn't it wonderful when we can know that "One day at A time" Sweet Jesus" Just one day at a time ,hear my cries Oh lord!

I finished Melissa's Tilda Easter Bunny, finally!
She starts a new round of Chemo this Thursday march 27th, also I did not know until Yesterday, that after the radiation treatments are over, she will have to take a medication every day for 5 years, after the 5th year ,if her blood test come out clear, she will be considered cancer free. My Holly was home from Chicago this weekend and she and Melissa had a mini slumber party with another close friend. Holly said they had so much fun just talking about school days! and toys they use to have!

Thanks Jenny and Lori! SO0 true! Isn't it fun to think of slumber parties! that made me recall one of my own, when I was 12. God has Blessed us so much!!!! I can never Thank all of you "Mary Jane Farm Sisters " enough! for your prayers!!! Thursday, I talked to Melissa before Chemo and told her Big HUG! and prayers from me and all the Mary Jane Farm Sisters and she said, Big Hug Back!

Love your Tilda Bunny for Melissa! I bet she will love it to pieces, sooooo cute! Yes, the cancer treatments for Melissa's form of breast cancer sound very difficult. I know she and her family are getting weary from so much to endure. I join all the others in keeping her in my prayers that these treatments will be life saving and after 5 years she will be cured. It is good that she had a fun weekend with your daughter to get away from thinking about the upcoming next rounds of chemo. Thanks, Connie for keeping us posted!
