The side effects of the Chemo are increasing. Today was a rough day for Melissa! My holly(the redhead) posted this Throwback Thursday picture on Melissa's Face Book Page. It was taken 20 years ago, when they were in Jr. high school! Keep those prayers coming! Big Hug!

I am so sorry to hear that the chemo is getting rougher for Melissa. Will keep sending prayers her way. The photo of Melissa and Holly is wonderful and a perfect idea to lift her spirits!

Thank you everyone!!!!!!!!! hugs!!!!!!!! One day at a time we all, family ,friends, co-workers, prayer partners, Farm Sisters!!!!! try to get her thru! This is her new wig! A close friend is also a Hair stylist and she does her wigs and scarfs for her!

She is one sweet beautiful and courageous girl:)she amazes me at how well she takes care of her appearance in the face of so much adversity...continued prayers for Melissa...the wig is beautiful:)and looks so nice on her:):):)give her another big hug from the farm:)

Connie, your Holly is beautiful! What a wonderful photo of Holly and Melissa together.
Melissa is so strong and so loved. She has such a fabulous smile and she wears her dear, lovely inner spirit all over her face. What a blessing you are in each other's life.

Connie, my Susan is my only child. I spent over 4 months in bed to get her. She lives in North Carolina. I am blessed beyond measure to have her, my SIL and my 2 grandgirls. Having a child is having your heart walk around outside of your body. Moms know that. Despite the distance, Susan and I are very close and I know you and Holly are too. Keeping you all in prayer. I've been off line quite a while and saw this blog when I signed in.
My heart was breaking for Melissa.. but praising God for His mercy and blessing.
I will pray for Melissa and add her name to my friends to pray too. A number have
fought for life and won!

What a cute photo of the girls together! Melissa looks wonderful in her wig. It looks so natural on her. I pray that the side effects ease up for her. She's such a tough girl to go through all this and keep smiling that beautiful smile!

My Aunt Joyce just found this pictue of Melissa, she took at Easter at thier farm in Friendship, Tennessee. 1976. She posted it to facebook and everyone said, Melissa looks the same!

8 more chemo treatments to go. then a break before radiation starts! Please keep praying!!!! This picture was taken today with one of her best friends, Keri(also a breast cancer survivor) Keri works at the West Cancer Clinic and is such a joy to everyone she meets!

Oh my goodness Connie! Melissa has no hair and is STILL beautiful! Her inner light just SHINES out thru her eyes and her smile! Continuing to keep you all in prayer.
