Does anyone have an easy ...tried n true ..simple..receipe for stuffed bell peppers....cabbage rolls...tamale pie (with corn meal topping)....life has been..hard the last few years n just getting some things out of storage......can't find my old receipes...thank you farm girls...Blessings

Shirley,

If you want something simple I often grab one of the family sized Zataran's rice and beans mixes and either mix cooked mushrooms or cooked ground beef with it and stuff my peppers with it. It is yum. I do the same thing with cabbage rolls and pour V8 juice over them. I generally pop these things in the freezer and delight in having them later in the season.

I use meatloaf mixture to stuff peppers and cabbage rolls. The thing about my meatloaf mixture is that it changes with whatever I have on hand.
