                      | Cj...that is one thing I love about the Fitbit Charge is it has a buckle. But I noticed with the newest Fitbit they went back to the narrower band like yours and the same kind of fastener.
Now you will probably always be having one eye on your current project and one eye on your fitbit. LOL
I am amazed by some people who I know (no not you...LOL)but friends here in my home town who have their fitbit quit working for some unknown reason to them and will tell me about it...and I
will ask, "Do you clean it regularly?" Which you can tell by their reaction they don't...but I will
then tell them how to clean it and they don't think that could possibly be the problem or solution...
so they blow you off like you surely must be clueless to the Technology of it all. And they don't
even try the suggestion they just go buy another Fitbit. This has happened like three times that I
can think of. I guess it just floors me because I don't have that kind of money to waste...and then
I am floored that they don't read the instructions that came with their fitbit that tell you exactly
how to clean them and why. LOL We really have become a "Throw Away" Society haven't we?

 Hugs,
 Peggy

                      | I agree Peggy! I wouldn't have this one if my daughter and son-in-law hadn't given it to me for Christmas. I don't have that kind of money to even start out with one. So, I try to take care of it. If it quits, it quits. Sometimes I wonder if folks know how to restart theirs. Mine stopped working one time and I thought I broke it, but did some research and found out that they sometimes need restarted. It's easy and I think I've had to do that about three times.

                      | I have had mine since last July and love it. The only thing I have noticed is that I can not get as many steps as CJ and Peggy! Umm, but I love the challenge!

                      | I really like mine too and am glad the kids thought to gift me with it. Deb you're doing great . . . I'm a walking fiend, always have been. Last week was a BIG week for me because I not only did my walks but I mowed the lawn, mowed weeds, . . . mowed a lot. Those were my 20,000+ steps/day days. Not wanting to push that hard every day . . . I'm too old!
So, we all just keep on keeping on I say!

                      | CJ...well if I ever need to know how to restart mine I will contact you!!! And if anyone needs to know how to keep theirs clean just let me know.

Debbie...saw you guys did the Arthritis Walk...how did that go for you? Looks like you have happy
friends to walk with...that makes it FUN! ~ Like Cj I have always been a walker until my Fibro hit
and with all the medication they had me on for a couple of years I had real balance issues and fell
alot...so much so that I walked with a cane for 3 years. Once I took myself off all that crap and
started living with the pain instead of fighting against it...I eventually got off the cane and got
back to walking again...but not until I got The Fitbit did I start pushing myself. As you and CJ remember
I struggled at first to even make 10,000 steps a day. I found it very difficult but now 5 months later
I am doing 10,000+ a day. It is still hard but it is now a routine and a habit. I do always look forward to my Sunday Day of rest from walking...and by the end of the week I am saying...just two more days til
my Day of Rest. LOL I am now walking 5 miles a day and that is what I walked everyday in my 20's and 30's.
And since I turn 65 in another five months...I'm feeling pretty good about that! My husband thinks I'm pushing too much but I don't. I'm listening to my body that is one of the reasons I knew I needed that
one day a week of rest...because I was dragging by then. It is also the Lords Day and He tells us to
rest one day a week and so I take Him literally and do exactly that.

OK...off to check the rest of my MJF Threads.

 Hugs,
 Peg

                      | P.S. One of my adventures was having my Fitbit Flex come off while my daughter and I were packing up after glamping for a week. I don't like the way the wristband fastens, don't think it's secure enough. Fortunately, my daughter found it in the back of my Envoy when we were unloading back at the house.

                      | Hi Gals, I too am on fit bit and enjoy having Peggy and CJ as my fit bit friends. Lately I have been getting over 11,000+ steps. Shannon I will try as well to find you, having another Farmgirl fit bit friend would be great!

                      | I was able to find some silicone "rings" (although they are not round) to use on my Flex to help secure the band. I found a set of 12 of them in different colors on Amazon and the purchase I chose to make included three wristbands in fuschia pink, teal and purple. They are knock-offs as they don't "Fitbit" on them like my black one does but they work and I can change to a different color now and then.
The "rings" are about 3/8" wide and fit on the band snug enough they don't slide around. You can pull it up over the end of the wristband where it clasps in and it will keep it from getting caught and pulled off.
I've caught mine more than once and have had it come off. Fortunately I've been able to find it each time.

                      | I got a reply from Shannon via my email to her. So CJ & Debbie you shouldn't have a problem by using her email address. We are getting a number of Farmgirl Fitbit users
and that makes it extra FUN doesn't it?

After not walking for a week because of an emergency trip to Spokane...this week nearly killed me off getting back into my
routine. By Thursday I was literally just putting one foot in front of the other and counting down the steps and days until Sunday...
which I take off every week. What a struggle I had!!! Today I know
why...rain coming!! Knocks me on my rear-end. Woke up with a headache and muscle pain all night long. Glad for the day off today.

OK Girls off we go into a new week! Don't forget to drink your water too.

 Hugs and Smiles,
 Peg

                      | Oh my goodness - talk about inspiration. I am one lazy person, lol. This week I am hoping to step things up!!!! This past week was the first time I had ever hit my 10000 steps repeatedly... talk about making you jump when the thing vibrates!!!! Yesterday was a "lazy" day as I was experiencing some heat exhaustion and today is my day of rest... Ready to hit the track tomorrow :)

                      | Shannon...I have had Cj and Debbie cheering me on all along. I didn't think I would ever even hit 10,000 but once you do it...you don't want to quit doing it. And these girls
will cheer you and challenge you!!! WELCOME ABOARD and get prepared to wear your tennis
shoes out. I think I will average a new pair of sneakers every 6 months at this rate. LOL
