Got my pattern!! It's so well laid out and the photos are great! Would be an easy project for a new sewer <3

Now I just need to pick a fabric....

CeeJay -

You can learn to crochet and use the apron for your Expert Crochet merit badge. LOL!

I'm playing catch up and getting so excited. I've ordered the apron pattern and can't wait to stitch it up. What a great theme!

Winnie sent me her apron kit (the one with the one large pocket) to sew for her. It was pretty quick and easy! (The pocket assembly could be a bit tricky for someone who doesn't know how to sew)
I haven't decided, yet, if I'm going to make myself one or not. I don't NEED any more aprons and I DO have some suitable for gathering things. We'll see . .

Same here CJ. I have 20 aprons of all different styles that I have sewn. And some that I can hold fresh harvested fruits and veggies. I have another idea but I want to wait and see what it looks like before I post it.

LOL! I also have at least 20 aprons - crocheted, recycled jeans, full, half, gathered, fancy, plain, and with and without pockets. But I got the pattern and will make one because this is a neat pattern.

I don't have as many aprons as some of you do, probably only about 10 or so. I really like the pattern with all the little pockets. Even though I don't have chickens (and therefore no eggs to gather!) I never seem to have enough pockets for the stuff I pick up and carry around. I can't wait to get my pattern!

Amy,
I don't have chickens either so it's POSSIBLE I might make one for all the gathering up of other things I do, but I'm still undecided!

I'm finally getting around to laying out my pattern and will make one big change to suit my sewing skills and energy level. I will use last year's clothespin apron pattern so I won't have to do a waistband. I measured my clothespin apron and it will work by using the width measurements for the egg-gathering apron. Pockets & ruffle will work too.

Thanks Linda. Got a question for you. To cut out the side pockets do I pin the pattern face side down for the right side? It looks like that to me, but I want to check with someone before I begin cutting.

Ohhhhh, my new Jubilee apron, kindly made for me by CeeJay arrived this afternoon!! Check out how cute this is! I didn't want the bow and CeeJay suggested some jumbo rick-rack that she had on hand. So, I traded rick-rack for the ribbon which she can use for Glamping projects. My pattern is the one with the big pocket in front and two side pockets. I love, love these fun fabrics and colors too. Since I will be on our trip in Europe for the Jubilee weekend, my apron is going in the suitcase and wherever I am, I am wearing it and will send back a photo to share. This Farmgirl will be a "Farmgirl on the Loose" in her Jubilee 2016 apron. It's gonna be fun!!

Thank-you CeeJay for helping me out. You are an apron maker extraordinaire!!

Love your apron, Winnie. Rick-rack was a good choice. CeeJay does sew up a pretty apron.
