                      | This will be fun. I sorted my Valentine squares into stacks for rows, thinking I might sew but my back says not today. I want to get them together before all of the Easter properties arrive. You have inspired me to get busy.

                      | I laid out all my squares and have put my Valentine squares in rows, too. Hopefully, I can get them sewn together this week. It will be ready for Valentines Day NEXT year. LOL!
I've also thought of a design for an Easter table runner - similar to Maryellen's Valentines, but with egg shapes. LOL! I made a simple Valentines table runner last year with Burlap and three large egg shapes - very easy.

                      | Linda, I received your sweet Easter prints today! Just what I needed on this 30 degree, damp day. Thank you, for this little ray of sunshine...guess I'd better start cutting.

                      | Welcome, Darlene, it's great to have another fabric swapper. I will add you to the list and send the list to you. To everyone else, I will send Darlene's address.
We have been having these swaps at least every couple months. We've done Patriotic, Christmas, Valentines, and now Easter. I have several other theme ideas in mind.

                      | Here are some of the other theme's I've thought of: men's (how many of us want to make a quilt for a husband, boytfriend, or son?), childrens (maybe 6-1/2" squares for an I Spy quilt), "farm", fruits/vegetables (possibly for a canning jar quilt), sewing, etc.
Do you'all have any other ideas? Or which of these do you like best?

                      | Autumn ideas could include apples, Halloween, scarecrows and pumpkins. Next January we could do snowmen. Summer could be our red white and blues, flowers, etc.

                      | I have my fabric and need to cut it. But.. .As life's little bowl of cherries has pits, I managed to trigger some arthritis in my dominant hand, and will have to wait a few days to cut them. Planning on an Epsom salt soak in a few minutes!! So, some pretty fabric will be winging its way to you all sometime next week.

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone's choices!

 Have a great day,
 Mary

                      | Oh Mary, I sure hope your hands get better soon. I have that arthritis myself. I had an angry four year old knock me down last week. My attention was on another little girl who was asking a question. I never saw the angry child running at us. She landed on top of the little girl and me. I suffered for five days and still have some soreness. I am 72 and I have worked with children since I was 14, but I had never encountered anything like that. I have had both knees replaced and I fell on them and my bad right arm. She was angry because I told her it was no longer center time, we were going outside to play. In fact we had cleaned the centers up and had our snack, but she wanted to play with the doll house. I sometimes use pain patches on my wrists at night. It seems to help. I will remember the Epsom salts soak next time.
