My Urban Farmgirl friend, Gwyneth, made the most excellent party favor for our little Irish-themed gathering last night:
"Get 'Yer Irish Up!" - a 4-CD set of all the most wonderful Irish tunes you can imagine...
Some traditional, some rock, some folk, some just cool tunes...78 tracks of Irish musical fun. It's packed in a DVD-type case and has a complete tracklist inside.
We have extra sets today and one of them is going to...well...maybe YOU!
Sign-up here by the end of the day on Thursday, March 15 to win this stunning collection of tunes. I'll have my dear husband draw the winner on his way to work Friday morning. I'll pop it in the mail Friday and you just may get it by St. Patty's Day this weekend! (More likely though, Monday...you'll have to keep the Irish mood up!)

p.s. Please note, there is a lot of traditional/folk music but also a lot of rock. Think U2, Sinead, Cranberries, Pogues, etc. Sinead sings things like "I want your hands on me" so if you're not comfortable with that type of music, this isn't for you!

Well, dear hubby had to leave early today so he didn't get to draw the name. But I put all of the names in a pie plate and let my darling 1-year old do the choosing. I was expecting him to grab a handful of names and then I'd have to wait for him to weed out one, but he actually just very gently picked one piece of paper from the pile!
