Heather, that hat is so stinking cute! They are going to love them.

Grace, your cactus is very pretty. I miss doing cross stitch and seeing your project makes me want to go dig mine out again. It's so relaxing.

Ruthie Ann, Nice! are all those items made by you? If so, you have been one busy lady.

Last weekend I made luggage tags. It's hard to see in the picture but the one on the left has a clear window for name & address. I have a terrible time sewing on vinyl. It always slides & doesn't lay flat. I tried cutting the piece larger than needed & trimmed after. I stopped & picked up the foot several times. I used a plastic foot, not sure what it's called but it's shorter than a regular foot.
Anyway, for the second tag, I made a fabric pocket instead.

Nice wooden decorations, Ruthie.

Great luggage tags, Andrea. I have some vinyl I was going to use to make something. Maybe I should practice first?

Thought I would share my latest Pinterest project from this past week. My sister who cans a lot, has been saving old rusted canning rings for several years. So we made pumpkins using twine, decorative paper strips and two sided tape. Also a glue gun at the end to tweak a few things. Most of my Pinterest projects are fails, but I’m kinda proud of this one.

A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Andrea, cute travel labels... I know if I could still travel I would love those on my bags

Wanda, I love your pumpkins. I've seen them painted but never done like that. I like your way even better!

Ruthie Ann, all your wood projects look wonderful. I hope the fall show was a success.

Andrea, the luggage tags are so cute.

Wanda,I love your pumpkin! I want to make one of those. I'll have to see if I have any old canning lids. It turned out great. Thanks for sharing.

Grace, I can't wait to see it. I'll have to see if I have time to do some this weekend.

Vanessa, I have had to do that too. Except I just put all the stuffing back in and stitched the holes shut lol. That's the best I can do with my sewing skills!

I dad that at first but Dr. Rose MD (messy dog) ripped it right open. The original material was pretty flimsy.

We had one like that with the flimsy bottom so I hand sewed a piece of fabric over the bottom. I used a heavy cotton like what they use on lawn chairs. It's now functional and washable again.

Working on charm pack coasters (Christmas, Halloween, Spring and Autumn) for Christmas presents. I have about 60 to do so I am stacking and pinning first then will sew all of them at one time.... Hoping it won't take too long to get them done. I have about 3/4 of them stacked so it is going pretty fast. Shout out for my DH. While I was up visiting my friend's mother, he cut 60 5" squares of batting for me!!!

What a guy. Lucky you Theresa. Do you rent him out -- he could be kind of a sous chef of sewing.
