I think I had to much coffee the picture is a bit
shaky looking.
Anyway wind is bowing, leaves are flying around,
snow is predicted. So got the fireplace going,
my embroidery is waiting for me, and my books.
We get up early about six, so I can get a lot
of housework done early, guess my upbringing
on the farm caused that.
Making a tuna noodle casserole for dinner.
Been getting ready for Thanksgiving, usually
have about 14 here. I have a little house so
its a lot of excuse me and look out.

Love grows best in smaller homes, Nancy Jo. Keeps us all close to one another.
Beautiful mantel, love your lamps, I've been wanting to find myself one that's still functional, still looking here in Central Oregon!

Nancy, as I have grown older, I have fallen in love with the deep red glassware. Your pieces on the mantle look lovely too! It sounds like you have the perfect day for sitting by the fire and working on some project or reading. It has been a long time since I had tuna casserole. YUM!! To me, it falls into the category of comfort food too; creamy, cheesy, and crunchy on top. I know it was tasty for this late Fall day you were having.

Nancy, it sounds like a lovely day. We have been really cold here and started to get some rain today so it is definitely a stay inside day. Enjoy your cozy day by the fire!
