How long are these going to bloom? And will all the green stay?
I have two containers of these and was was hoping they would stay around for a while.
Great weather here right now, some one say hot. I water every thing twice a day.
Going garage sailing tomorrow with my daughter, cooking chicken and gravy to night now dinner, been working on another afghan and of course reading. OH OH!! HUGE EVENT LAST WEEK, RICHARD AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 50 YEARS!!!! Kids had a huge party for us.

I don’t know much about pansies, but want to wish you and Richard a HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY!!
That is a wonderful milestone, ours will be #43 in August.
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

50 yrs! Thats awesome! My parents were married 53 before my dad passed! Congratulations!!
If proper care and love, your pansies will last all year! Mine even seeded with the wind from our deck and I e got rogue patches coming up all over my lawn!

Congratulations, Nancy Jo on your anniversary! That's wonderful! :)
Ditto to what Dianna said! I basically just water my pansies and they grow and grow and then come back the next year in the same place and other places as well. They are happy little flowers! :)

Congratulations on your 50th anniversary Nancy! That is an amazing milestone to make. I hope you both have many more happy years together.
I love pansies and they prefer to be in a shadier cooler place to thrive. Hot weather and sunshine will shorten their life cycle though. You could try planting them in a shady part of the garden and water them well to get them to last as long as possible.

Happy Anniversary!!!!
I love pansies. They are happy flowers to me. The only other thing I do is I cut the stems of the flowers off once the flower dies and the flowers produce longer in the season and then when it gets too hot I let them seed and collect the heads in a paper bag, let them dry and use them the following year in the garden.
