I see a few swaps with apple themes are already showing up so I just wanted to remind everyone and tell our new members that September has been designated our Apple Festival month! WE have been doing this for about 5 years and it has been fun and something many of us look forward to.
Soon, I will be posting out annual Apple swap, a book giveaway from MaryJane, and the date for our Apple Pie Sunday!! There is also an Apple Badge, that I put together, for those of you who are looking for a badge with a fall focus.
For all of our newcomers and all of the older members, I hope you can join in the fun we have here every September!

I do love apples and always look forward to all the apple activities. I have already been making us cinnamon apples. We can't get enough of them! I can't believe it's already almost September.

Welcome everyone and fellow apple enthusiasts! I am amazed that some of you have already been dreaming up apple goodies too!! Apple fun for early fall is just plain contagious. There is something about this fruit’s arrival that lights up the reality that the season of Fall is slowly moving in to push Summer away for another year. All Summer long, these tasty fruits have been growing quietly while the rest of us were enjoying endless cartons of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. But those favorite fruits are now at the end of their growing cycles and apples are coming forward to fill baskets and grocery store shelves. Farmgirls…….Appples are like the lighthouse and now shining on our way towards one of the most favorite seasons for millions of people. As we say here in the South, Happy Fall Y’’all!!!
