Hi everyone, we are rapidly moving through August which will land us in September. September is our Annual Farmgirl Festival here at MJF. I have posted a bit of information under the link Holiday if you wish to know more about our tradition. This tradition is now 11 years and going strong!
In order to be able to have some fun apple goodies to begin September with, I am starting sign ups now, August 19- August 29. Partners will be posted on August 30 and mail outs soon as possible for you. I hope many of you can join in the fun. If you cannot, I am offering an Apple Giveaway today so be sure to sign up for that .
Lets say good by to Summer and welcome in the early signs of Fall's arrival with ripe apples of every variety!

Welcome everyone to our annual apple swap! There are many of us farm girls who love apples and learning more about the various kinds. When I created the Apple page requirements way back in 2014, I knew we would also love to just have an apple swap where anyone could join in the fun. Early Fall with its arrival of so many apple favorites has become an important part of our seasonal celebrations. Plus apple bobbing has always been a traditional game for Halloween parties.

My daughter Holly 's Birthday is October 25th so we always had a Halloween theme Birthday party with Apple Bobbing some years. I have some pictures somewhere of her and my God Children Bobbing for Apples. We borrowed my Granny's 4 foot oval wash tub for the party. Those tubs go by numbers, I forget what # it was. It was great weather that year so we had it outside.
